Why us?

Our Company

Like our scaffolding systems, Burflex Scaffolding is founded on quality, integrity and consistency. Our head office is based in Hull, we also have contact offices in Sheffield and Leeds. This allows us to provide expert services quickly and effectively to customers across the north and further afield, with multiple projects always in operation around the UK.

Safety and efficiency are absolute priorities. From small and simple projects to more complex and impressive structures across the UK, we inspect, assess, fine-tune and monitor every single element of our scaffolding systems, as well as their applications and environments.

Our History

2005

Burflex Scaffolding wins a major contract with one of the largest building projects in Hull. Workforce increases to 12 scaffolders and 2 office staff.

2007

Burflex Scaffolding expands into a new 40,000 sq ft yard to hold our newly arrived stock of Layher Allround© system scaffolding. We become one of the very few companies to own, use and be fully trained in Layher Scaffolding.

Workforce increases to 15 advanced scaffolders, 2 supervisors and 4 office staff.

2011

Burflex Scaffolding moves into a new office in Hull. Our scaffolding increases to well over £2million of on hand stock, requiring 80,000 sq ft of storage space.

We now employ 60+ scaffolders, 3 supervisors, 3 office staff, 1 general manager, 1 design manager and 2 yard operatives.

2015

Burflex Scaffolding reaches the impressive milestone of 200 employees. Our management structure is bolstered to reflect this.

In May, we also invest an extra £700,000 in a new fleet of 47 Renault Kangoo Maxi crew vans for our operatives. Our buying power enabled us to deal with Renault UK directly. This allows us to reduce our carbon footprint whilst increasing vehicle reliability and comfort levels for operatives.

2016

Burflex Scaffolding continues to invest in the future. In January we place an order for 12 new Renault 6×2 26-tonne wagons to better support our continued growth throughout the UK. This firmly strengthens our place as the largest independent and family-owned scaffolding company in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

2017

Burflex currently operate on over 70 construction sites throughout the UK, scaffolding assets value of upwards of £18m with a current employed workforce of over 180 operatives.
