Connectivity between Yorkshire’s major hubs and the rest of the North of England could boost regeneration in the region in 2018.
This is according to business editor of the Yorkshire Post Mark Casci, who in his roundup editorial of 2017, claimed the resurgence of Yorkshire Bank, Yorkshire’s ‘thriving’ tech sector and news Bradford was named the best city in the UK to start a business by Barclays, are all positive factors for the county.
And it is not only the cities that are proving to be blossoming in recent times for businesses and consumers alike but rural parts of Yorkshire are also becoming a hotbed of opportunity for business, but he added this part of the countryside is in need of infrastructure support.
It is Leeds that continues to shine as the flagship city in Yorkshire as a hub for technology, connectivity and innovation.

The newspaper recently reported that Leeds City Council plans to remodel Leeds Station, while the University of Leeds is investing £10 million into the first dedicated centre for high-speed rail technologies and system integration in the country.
The incoming HS2 high-speed rail service is also expected to bring a boost to the local economy.
